Next-generation global payments provider Align Commerce, which serves the small and medium-sized business community, has announced the UK as another area that businesses can send money out of - opening up send and receive capabilities from the UK to the US and over 60 other countries. With the value of bilateral trade between the U.S. and the UK surpassing $113 billion in 2015, businesses in both countries will now be able to utilise a combination of blockchain with traditional payments to enable simple invoicing and real-time payments tracking.
The payment rail to the UK is enabled in time for the businesses money transfer period of the year and the company will be offering businesses $100 off any invoice paid from December 8th to the 31st between the US and the UK.
