Copyrobo, a technology company that creates timestamped evidence of work, is utilizing blockchain technology and Qualified Timestamps, to help creators timestamp and manage their copyrights. The Vietnam-based company is committed to ensuring people’s rights to protect and share their creative work. The web and app based service offers a complete timestamping solution for images, documents, video and music produced by individuals and companies.

The company produces qualified timestamps that provide evidence with the highest probative value. These timestamps comply with the EU’s eIDAS standards, which became effective on 1 July 2016. The system also integrates with social media applications, including Facebook, Flickr, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter and cloud storage applications, such as Google Drive, Dropbox, and Box. It also offers the CopyrightKey, a link that protects intellectual property, deters infringement, and fosters licensing.

Copyright infringement on the internet has become an increasing problem, with Google having to remove 879,000,000 URLs on 342,000 websites based on copyright violation requests in the past year. Copyrobo intends to solve this problem by helping creators create proof of ownership; be able to share and license their work confidently; and provide evidence with the highest probative value should disputes need to be resolved in court, reducing the risk of sharing creative work.

CEO Hasan Kurtulus remarked: ”We believe creative people should be able to share their work without fear of theft or infringement”
